Pool Project Update

The Highmore City Council signed a contract with  with Carrothers Construction Company on October 20th,  2022,  formally committing to a new pool, with the design as shown below.

Construction has been completed. A grand opening/ribbon cutting was held on May 28, 2024.

Both the Highmore City Council and Hyde County Commissioners committed $500,000 to this project, with a total cost of $2.35 million. Hyde CPR raised the remaining funds.

Hyde CPR actively raised money, acquiring donations and corporate sponsorships.

As a 501(c)3 organization, donations to Hyde CPR are tax deductible. Contributions from the sale of grain or livestock are also possible. Quoin Bank has partnered with our group to set up automatic withdrawals and payments for your donations and pledges. If your business is interested in a corporate sponsorship, we would love to discuss possibilities! Options are available for purchasing specific "a la carte" pieces of equipment, as well as larger, lump sum donations. 

Donors will be featured on a permanent display at the new pool. Corporate sponsorships and donors of large sums will be recognized through special signage throughout the facility. There are multiple areas to be featured in the bathhouse, on the pool deck and surrounding structures.
